The Works Information sections of the NEC3 Contract documents used by Crossrail consisted of:

• Part 2A – Particular Works Information – relevant to the individual project
• Part 2B – General Requirements -requirements that were common to all similar contracts
• Part 2C – Technical Requirements

This version of Part 2B, used for the Systems contracts, is likely to be of particular interest to future major projects as it includes, among other provisions, requirements relating to:

• Contractor’s Design
• Interfaces with other operators
• Management and Administration
• Responsible Procurement
• Testing and Commissioning
• Health and Safety Management
